Home sales down from last month, real estate board says

CREA stats also state that this month has marked the lowest level of new residential listings for the month in a decade

The Timmins, Cochrane and Timiskaming District Association of Realtors reports that November home sales are down from October. There was also 119 new residential listings, the lowest level for the month in a decade.

There was a total of 101 residential unit sales in the month of November 2019. This marks an increase of 13 sales per cent from November 2018.

In November 2019:

  • 101 residential units were sold
  • $189,989 was the average price of homes sold
  • 119 new residential listings were posted

To compare, in October 2019:

  • 123 residential units were sold
  • $174,323 was the average price of homes sold
  • 175 new residential listings were posted

To compare, in November 2018:

  • 88 residential units were sold
  • $231,786.58 was the average price of homes sold
  • 134 new residential listings were posted
