The City of Timmins wishes to advise that the in-ground garbage containers have been temporarily screwed shut while we experience an influx of people at the Hollinger Park.
To empty these containers requires a small loader, a few employees, trucks and trailers.
Due to some limitations in access and our ability to safely empty these containers, we have screwed these shut for the duration of the Stars and Thunder Festival.
Other garbage containers are available around the public areas in the park, and additional ones will be added as required.
We thank you for your patience during this temporary change, as well as your cooperation in keeping our city clean.
