Highway 101 will be closed in both directions for an hour on Sunday morning.
The closure will be from Father Costello Drive in Schumacher to the Bruce Avenue intersection in South Porcupine on Jan. 16 from 10-11 a.m.
It's to allow Hydro One to relocate overhead wires, according to the City of Timmins.
"Detour signs will be posted and local law enforcement will be directing traffic," reads the news release.
The detour for traffic is the backroad (Gold Mine Road). It can be accessed from Golden Avenue in South Porcupine or Moneta Avenue in Timmins.
