SOUTH PORCUPINE - On Feb. 13, 2019 at approximately 2:05 p.m., the South Porcupine Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 144, approximately 30 kilometers south of Highway 101.
A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) was in the ditch. The material was offloaded and the CMV was removed. The driver, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway was closed for 18 hours while crews removed the CMV from the ditch.
