OPP wish to advise motorists that Highway 144 is now open to traffic.

Original 1:40 p.m. release - Hwy 144 closed from Hwy 101 to Jct of Hwy 560
South Porcupine Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Road Advisory:
Location: Hwy 144 from Hwy 101 to Jct of Hwy 144 and Hwy 560
Brief Description of Event: CN Rail line crossing maintenance issue resulting in OPP member closing for public safety
Detour (if available): Local traffic only
Estimated duration of Road Advisory: approx. 10 Hrs.
The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.
Please do not call O.P.P. Provincial Communication Centres for road advisory updates or road condition information.
