TEMAGAMI – Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on Nov. 24, 2016 at approximately 9 a.m.
The collision occurred on Highway 11 south of Temagami and involved two tractor trailers. The identity of the deceased will not be confirmed until after post mortem has been completed.
The Temagami Fire Department, Marten River Fire Department, North Bay Fire & Emergency Services and North Bay & District Ambulance Service attended and the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with this ongoing investigation.
Highway 11 is currently open to an alternating lane.
