Here's where to mark Remembrance Day in Timmins

There are two ceremonies for people to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Monday, Nov. 11 there are services at the Timmins cenotaph, as well as the South Porcupine Legion.

A parade is marching from the Timmins Armoury to the Timmins cenotaph at Hollinger Park starting at 10:50 a.m. with a ceremony at 11 a.m.

At the South Porcupine Legion Branch 287, 46 Legion Dr., the parade forms at 10:30 a.m. and the ceremony is at 11 a.m.

In Timmins, the flags at municipal buildings will also be lowered for Remembrance Day.
