Here's where the city's removing snow this week

Public works crews will be doing day and night snow removal this week.

According to the City of Timmins, overnight snow removal, which is done between 9:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., will happen:

• Sunday, Feb. 10 - Pine from Sixth to Crystal, Third Avenue

• Monday, Feb. 11 - Algonquin from Highway 655 to Spruce, Spruce from Sixth to Kirby

• Tuesday, Feb. 12 - Cedar from Kirby to Sixth, Balsam from First to Sixth, Second Avenue

• Wednesday, Feb. 13 - Algonquin from Spruce to Mountjoy, Waterloo from Algonquin to Vimy

Daytime snow removal is also scheduled and takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The schedule is:

Monday, Feb. 11

• Timmins - First, Kimberly, Kirby. A second snow removal will be dispatched for Timmins/Mountjoy as resources become available.

• South Porcupine - Galbraith, McDougall, Glenn, Smith

Tuesday, Feb. 12

• Timmins - Laurier, Borden, Floral, Crescent, Lincoln. A second snow removal will be dispatched for Timmins/Mountjoy as resources become available.

• South Porcupine - Evans, Warner, Walter Lane, Leighton, Allan

Wednesday, Feb. 13

• Timmins - Columbus, Wende, Bannerman. A second snow removal will be dispatched for Timmins as resources become available.

• South Porcupine - Huot, Front

Thursday, Feb. 14

• Timmins - Sterling, Lee, Moneta. A second snow removal will be dispatched for Timmins/Mountjoy as resources become available.

• Schumacher - Father Costello, Croatia from Veterans to Battachio, Grant, Boundary, Vipond from Templeton to Father Costello, Les Hall

Friday, Feb. 15

• Timmins - churches and store fronts. A second snow removal will be dispatched for Timmins/Mountjoy as resources become available.

• Schumacher - Dwyer, Fourth, Aura Lake, Battachio, Lion’s Crest, Hollinger
