To celebrate National Cupcake Day, the Timmins and District Humane Society is inviting people to buy some sweet treats and meet some of the adorable shelter animals up for adoption.

Urban Park Winter Market

Saturday, Feb. 16, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Seymour's Pantry

Some of your favourite vendors from the summer markets — Graham Acres, Acres of Dreams, Sunrise Orchards, Dream Acres, and more — will be set up inside the new pantry. Third Avenue will also be closed to traffic between Cedar and Pine Streets for Le Bec Sucre, who will be making and selling La Tire, which is fresh maple syrup over snow. The Timmins Firefighters will also be set up, letting people explore fire trucks.
