Smoke-free movie night

O’Gorman High School

The Porcupine Health Unit has partnered with Timmins Youth Organization for this free public event. The movie is The Polar Express. There will be free popcorn, hot chocolate, and gifts, as well as activities such as decorating gingerbread cookies, making ornaments, and writing a letter to Santa Claus.

Pet Pictures with Santa

Saturday, Dec. 8 and Sunday Dec. 9, noon to 4 p.m.

Santa is ready to meet your fur babies! A $10 donation to the Timmins and District Humane Society will give you a DVD of photos with you pets/family and Santa. You can also bring your own USB to load the photos onto.

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery or other craft project and sit with others while you work and share ideas.

The Timmins Symphony Orchestar Geoffrey James Lee School of Music adult concert band is putting on a free holiday performance. Everyone is welcome to attend.
