Vanier Fun Night

Roland Michener Secondary School

The cost is $10 per child and includes 10 tickets. There will be games, prizes, a photo booth, hot dogs, sundaes, and RM merch.

Porcupine Lake Clean Up

Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m. - noon

Whitewater Conservation Area

The Friends of the Porcupine River Watershed group is hosting its second annual clean up of the shores and trails around Porcupine Lake. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. If you plan on helping out, let the group know in advance by registering here.

Toll Booth

Saturday, May 25

The Knights of Columbus will be setting up at the intersection of Main and Bruce streets in South Porcupine this weekend to collect donations.

Unveilling ceremony

Saturday, May 25, 11 a.m.

Timmins Museum

The downtown building is officially being renamed the Michael JJ Doody Centre of Excellence. For the ceremony, Second Avenue will be closed between Spruce Street and Brunette Road from 10 a.m. to noon.

Multicultural Festival

Sunday, May 26, 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

McIntyre Arena

Featuring the Timmins Police Pipes and Drums and other multicultural performances. Get a taste for the different foods, sites and sounds of the world. The Parade of Nations is at 12:30 p.m. Donations are being collected at the door.

Timmins Quilters’ Guild Exhibit

Runs until May 26

See the stunning collection of locally-made quilts, both hand-stitched and machine-made, during regular hours at the museum.
