Timmins Rock vs. Hearst Lumberjacks

Monday, March 25, 7 p.m.

McIntyre Arena

It’s game six in the best-of-seven eastern division semi-final series, which is the Rock is leading 3-2. Tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, $7 for children ages seven to 12, and $5 for kids six and under accompanied by a guardian. They are available at timminsrock.com.

Evening of Applause

Monday, March 25, 6 p.m.

Timmins High and Vocational School

The event is in conjunction with the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. It celebrates Students Who Make a Difference and will inductee the new members of the Timmins Human Rights Wall of Fame. 

Ride N Dine

Wednesday, March 27, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Kamiskotia Snow Resort

It’s the final Ride N DIne of the Season. There will be a free shuttle service from the Porcupine Mall, McIntyre Metro and Timmins Square, and live music by Eric Letourneau and Paul Sebalj. Event sponsor Mikey’s is also hosting a fundraiser for six-year-old Robin Fortier Lachapelle, who has diastrophic dysplasia and needs spinal surgery.

Archie Dillon Sportsplex Arena

The Timmins Porcupine Figure Skating Club is showcasing it talent at the annual gala. Admission is a donation for the food bank.

Local History Discovery Afternoon

Saturday, March 30, 2 - 4 p.m.

Timmins Public Library

Fundraising concert: A Symphony of Swing

Saturday, March 30, 7:30 p.m.

Ecole secondaire catholique Theriault

The Timmins Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the Timmins All-Star Big Band for an evening of classic swing and jazz hits. Tickets are $30 and available at the Timmins Museum.
