Heat Warning in effect for:
- Little Abitibi - Kesagami Lake
- Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls
- Gogama - Foleyet
Hot and humid conditions are expected.
Daytime maximum values near 30 degrees are likely today and possibly Monday with overnight minimum temperatures near 18 degrees, providing little relief from the heat.
A cold front is expected to move through Northeastern Ontario Monday or Monday night, bringing an end to the hot and humid conditions.
Extreme heat affects everyone.
Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.
Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
