  •    Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls
  •    Gogama - Foleyet
  •    Kirkland Lake - Temiskaming Shores - Temagami
  •    North Bay - West Nipissing

Current details:
Heat event continues today.

Maximum temperatures: 29 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Timing:
Continuing until this evening.

Discussion:
Daytime high temperatures are expected to be near 30 degrees Celsius again today. Temperatures will fall below heat criteria tonight with lows in the 13 to 15 degrees Celsius range.

The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.

Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.

Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
