[TIMMINS, ONTARIO] – Montana’s Cookhouse Timmins held a Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for its new owners Shawn Roy and Rose Boulianne-Roy of Montana’s followed by a week-long community celebration with prizes and draws.

“We’re happy to introduce our latest accomplishment to the community and thank those who have helped bring this vision to reality” said Roy. “The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Montana’s Cookhouse Timmins will mark the launch of a new direction for Montana’s in Timmins. We’re delighted for those who will join in on our celebration. Our dream of owning this facility was made possible in part by the support of our family, friends and the community.” said Roy.

Montana's is a friendly, down-home, casual restaurant with a fully licensed lounge and a menu featuring more than 100 items. It has a vibe that is fun and casual, with ample parking, large seating capacity and reservations that can be made. New staff uniforms have been implemented with other changes to come. In the short time that Shawn and Rose have been new owners, they have commended their employees for their ongoing support with the new direction and with their excellent level of service. “Every guest leaves happy … after great food and great service!” said Boulianne-Roy.

With a newly changed menu, Montana’s has become famous for its fall-off-the-bone smokehouse ribs and fresh Canadian AAA steaks. The brank celebrates fun-to-eat food that breaks the ‘proper’ rules, and feels big, perhaps messy and definitely tasty. It’s a place where it’s okay to eat with your hands, laugh heartily and enjoy your kids in a family setting.

The VP and regional manager of Cara Operations, and local dignitaries were on hand to offer a few remarks regarding Montana’s Cookhouse and to assist in the ribbon-cutting.  The official community grand re-opening is from Tuesday the 8th to Saturday the 12th of October, with draws and prizes to be won throughout week. Shawn and Rose would like to welcome everyone to join in this event.

Montana’s is owned by Cara Operations Limited, Canada’s most historic and largest full service restaurant company. Cara owns many of Canada’s favorite restaurant concepts including Milestones, Swiss Chalet, Kelsey’s, Harvey’s, and of course Montana’s.
