TIMMINS PORCUPINE TRACK AND FIELD CLUB

Once again this year the Timmins Porcupine Track and Field Club is proud to host the Gold Rush Run on Oct. 7 with our major sponsor Goldcorp.
The two-kilometre fun run will commence at 9 a.m. and the new five-kilometre fun and competitive run starting at 10 am.
The run will take place at the Timmins Regional Athletic and Soccer Complex and a free breakfast for everyone following their race will take place in the Theriault high school cafeteria. There will be prizes donated by our generous community supporters after both the two km race and the five km race.
There will be cash prizes for the the first three runners of the 5 km race in both the female and male categories. Medals will also be awarded to the top three of each age category.
Anyone interested in taking part in this community event can register online until midnight Oct. 5. Registration packages can be picked up in the Theriault cafeteria on Oct. 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at which time anyone wishing to register in person will be able to do so with a $10 surcharge per registrant.
