Frankie says a 'major snowstorm' is on its way to Timmins

15 - 25 cm of snow is expected

Popular YouTuber Frankie MacDonald has a warning for Timmins residents.

The Nova Scotia man, who does his own weather reports online, says a major snowstorm is heading towards Timmins.

He warns about the road conditions and has some suggestions on how to prepare.

He says to have your winter clothes ready, and to charge your electronics.

"Order your pizzas and order Chinese food and buy cases of Pepsi and buy your cases Coke. Do your grocery shopping, don't wait until the last minute, do it right now," MacDonald said.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.

Between 15 and 25 cm of snow is expected tonight and into Thursday.
