Forest fires near Cochrane

At the time of this report, three fires are active in the region.

  • Cochrane 4, located in the far north, was discovered on June 14 and is being observed at 120 hectares
  • Cochrane 3, located in Peawanuck, was discovered on June 11 and is under control at 8 hectares
  • Cochrane 2, located near the community of Peawanuck, was discovered on June 11 and is being held at 122 hectares

The forest fire hazard ranges from low to high across the Northeast.
