The Timmins Fire Department is making it easy for the community to support the local food banks.
This Sunday, Sept. 25 starting at 11 a.m., fire trucks will be out in neighbourhoods across the city collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations for the Timmins and South Porcupine food banks.
Donations can also be dropped off at any of the fire stations on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone wanting to volunteer to help collect donations should be at their local fire station by 11 a.m. Sunday.
