Highway 11 is closed in both directions due to a fatal crash, according to OPP.
On Twitter, the OPP Northeast Communications said the stretch of highway is closed two-kilometres west of Cochrane due to a fatal motor vehicle collision. There is a detour in place via Highway 655.
It's not known when the road will re-open.
The detachment first posted about the collision involving two vehicles early this morning. An hour later, an update said the road was closed due to fatalities.
