Ontario Power Generation (OPG) would like to advise motorists crossing the Abitibi Canyon Generating Station (Highway 634) that traffic delays will be taking place for several weeks due to sluice gate maintenance. Delays are expected to be between 30 minutes and one hour in length, and will begin on Tues., Oct. 15.

The work, and associated traffic delays, are expected to continue until late November. OPG thanks the motoring public for their patience.

OPG is the largest electricity generator in the province, providing almost half the power Ontarians rely on every day. It is also one of the most diverse generators in North America with expertise in nuclear, hydro, biomass, solar and gas.
