KIRKLAND LAKE – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Kirkland Lake Detachment have charged a man with drug offences.
The charges stem from the investigation of illegal drug related activities in the Kirkland Lake area.
It culminated with the arrest of an individual on Government Road East.
Seized as a result of the investigation were methamphetamine pills, marihuana and money.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $1,400.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:40 a.m. on August 25, 2015.
Charged is Curtis GIBSON age 26 of Kirkland Lake, Ontario with Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking given by Officer in Charge.
The accused has been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
