Board Receives Prestigious Award
District School Board Ontario North East has been recognized for one of its’ signature programs. Paul Langis, Acting Assistant to the Director of Education, has been honoured with the Institute of Public Administration of Canada 2013 innovative Management Gold Award.

SHSM is a program that allows high school students with a career path in mind, to pursue their interest and acquire on-the-job skills in fields such as Tourism and Hospitality, Environment, and Sports, while still completing the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
