Disputing Neighbor Receives Charges - OPP

The Iroquois Falls Ontario Provincial Police ( OPP ) have arrested and charged a local man with criminal code charges stemming from a dispute yesterday afternoon in Iroquois Falls.

The Iroquois Falls Ontario Provincial Police ( OPP ) have arrested and charged a local man with criminal code charges stemming from a dispute yesterday afternoon in Iroquois Falls.

OPP officers attended a Union Street apartment building in Iroquois Falls in answer to a report of a neighbor dispute in progress.

Once on site, the investigation was commenced and as a result,

Christopher OLAVESON, 37, of Iroquois Falls, has been charged with:

-       One count of Causing a Disturbance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

-       One count of Breach of Probation contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

OLAVESON was kept in police custody in order to be released this morning on a Promise to Appear requiring him to attend Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.
