The Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing snow removal in Timmins, East of Highway 655, from January 12th to January 16th:
1. Monday Jan 12th, South Porcupine – Shamrock, Bloor, Strachan
2. Tuesday Jan 13th, South Porcupine – Spillnaar, David, Daniel, Gace, Tynne Court
3. Wednesday Jan 14th, South Porcupine – Eric Crescent, Girdwood
4. Thursday Jan 15th, Schumacher – Bottom Fourth, Veteran, Ponderosa, Delost, Miners, Ennis, Prospector
5. Friday, Jan 16th , South Porcupine – Renison, Bergeron Court, Michener
Note on the Plan: The above plan or parts of the plan may be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect or related to mechanical issues. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing / maintenance crew.
Posted No Parking Signs Advising Winter Maintenance: Residents are reminded that Public Works will be posting colour coded “No Parking Signs” advising residents in advance that Winter Maintenance will be taking place. Vehicles will be ticketed and towed to allow for Snow Removal Crew to advance.
Winter Parking Ban: A reminder that the Winter Parking Ban is effect and parking on the street is not permitted on any day, between the hours of 23:30hrs to 07:30hrs, from November 1st through April 30th
Safety: A reminder to respect safety signage as the safety of workers is very important.
