Crime Stoppers and the Timmins Police Service need your help to identify a man involved in an animal cruelty case.

On the 8 th October, 2013 while the complainant was walking her dog in the alley behind Spruce Street South the dog approached an unknown male calmly and friendly. The male then removed his belt and attempted to strike the dog with the belt buckle.

On the 8th October, 2013 while the complainant was walking her dog in the alley behind Spruce Street South the dog approached an unknown male calmly and friendly.  The male then removed his belt and attempted to strike the dog with the belt buckle.  As the male had connected with the dog it ran away.

Again, on the 10th of October the same man was seen walking around the home of the complainant carrying a 3 foot long piece of wood wrapped in rope.  When confronted the male said that he was looking for the dog “seeking revenge”.

The male is described as being Caucasian, in his mid 50’s with white hair, standing approxi

mately 6 feet tall and about 200 lbs.  During the October 10th incident the male was wearing cut off jean shorts, a blue open button shirt and a blue visor cap.

This is the most read story in Timmins!! From the comments and tips, we ARE a city that cares! I called Timmins Police this evening as I saw  the guy on Third Ave and they are happy to report that they know who he is and have made contact. Hopefully justice prevails.
