Sometime between Oct. 28, 2016 and June 14, 2017, unknown suspects attended the site of a scientific Fluxnet station storage shed located 400 meters west of Highway 144 on McKeown Road.

Approximately $16,000 in items was taken. The equipment taken was installed on a hundred foot high scaffold tower, clearly visible from Highway 144.

This theft was witnessed by passerby’s and may have been mistaken as employees working on the tower. Electrical knowledge and expertise would have been needed to remove the equipment without injury to the thieves.
