The Little Rock curling program received an unexpected boost recently thanks to the Porcupine Mall Craft and Vendor Show.

After every craft show at the mall, which are held about four times a year, the proceeds of the money raised through the booths is given to local non-profit groups.

After their recent show the first weekend of December, the Little Rock program, which helps get the younger generation on the curling rink, received $650. The other portion of the money raised was donated to the Yo Mobile! in Timmins.

The next Porcupine Mall Craft and Vendor Show is Dec. 15-17.
