IROQUOIS FALLS - The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) and the Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières (CSCDGR) are pleased to share an update pertaining to the construction of the new French-language Catholic and Public Secondary School in Iroquois Falls.

Construction has resumed at the site of the new building of École secondaire catholique et publique L’Alliance. Several factors that are beyond the control of school boards have resulted in delays in the progress of the project. However, the move to this new school would not be affected by the delays. In fact, the contractor responsible for the project confirms that the work is expected to be completed by the end of July 2020.

If work continues as per schedule, students and staff at École secondaire catholique et publique L'Alliance will be able to enjoy their new school as early as of September 2020. This is an important moment in the realization of this project that will finally see the light of day.

École secondaire catholique et publique L’Alliance new location is at 296 Cambridge Avenue. An official opening will be scheduled in the Fall and details will follow shortly.
