Couple share a dance for 72nd wedding anniversary

Maurice and Rachel Gagnon enjoyed a dance together to celebrate their 72nd wedding anniversary.

In the dining room at St. Mary's Gardens, the couple waltzed to Quand on est en Amour by Patrick Normand. Staff and residents were teary-eyed to see the love the couple still shares.

“All marriages are different and we could not say there is a recipe for a successful marriage. We are lucky because we’ve always got along," said the could about the secret to a lasting marriage.

Residents at St. Mary's Gardens were also treated to cupcakes and chocolate-covered strawberries that were provided by the Gagnon family.
