North East Tri-Board Student Transportation has announced this morning that school buses are cancelled in Hearst, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls, and Kirkland Lake. The cancellations are due to cold weather policy.
For District School Board Ontario North East students in Grades 9 to 12, there is virtual learning on snow days. Schools are open for secondary students in high support programs for in-person learning.
Schools are open for students in kindergarten to Grade 8.
The North East Tri-Board Student Transportation provides services for District School Board Ontario North East, the Northeastern Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario.
