Cobalt woman faces drug trafficking charge

TEMISKAMING SHORES - On Nov. 4, 2018, at 7 p.m., a member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a female on Silver Street in the Town of Cobalt, Ont. that was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Further investigation revealed that the female was in possession of suspected controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking.

The officer seized a quantity of methamphetamine pills, speed, and Xanax. 

Jessica Fader, 28 years old of Cobalt, Ont. is arrested and charged with the following:
    •    Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.)

The accused was held for bail. She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Nov. 5, 2018, in Haileybury, Ont.
