The NDP of Timmins-James Bay are ready for the 2015 election. Last night, the riding association elected a new executive and nominated Charlie Angus as the official NDP candidate for Timmins-James Bay.
“I am honoured to become the candidate for Timmins-James Bay New Democrats. I don’t take this nomination lightly. I value the trust that has been given to me by our incredible team of volunteers,” says Angus
Timmins-James Bay is a riding larger than Great Britain. The new NDP riding association has laid out a plan to ensure a fully-equipped campaign in every part of our vast riding.
"We don’t take anything for granted. We have a great base of volunteers and will be ready to go the minute Stephen Harper calls the election,” says Angus
The new riding president is Ed Stecewicz, who says the team is keen to get to work.
“Charlie has been a strong voice for Northern Ontario as the Member of Parliament for Timmins-James Bay and we have an incredible team of veteran volunteers and newcomers.”
