The week before Easter, students from École secondaire catholique Thériault made and sold more than a thousand candy kebobs to help Mario from the Yo! Mobile help others.

The Yo! Mobile is well known in the Timmins community to those living on the streets or in need of a helping hand. The sale of the kebobs raised more than $2,000, money that was used to purchase grocery cards that will be given to families or individuals in need.

Thériault students have been helping Mario and the Yo! Mobile for many years, mostly in partnership with PAC (Projet amour communautaire) a local humanitarian group that offers help to the needy in our region as well as in other underprivileged communities.
