The Timmins Community Food Bank's Amber Elliott accepts $6,832 from Bermuda Tan owner Gail Mills. The money was raised during the business' annual Christmas Ball Raffle.

An annual raffle is helping to serve up hot meals in the community.

Bermuda Tan's Christmas Ball Raffle raised $6,832.

"This year's donation secures funding for another year of the Tuesday hot meal program prepared and served at Timmins Community Food Bank held at the First Baptist Church on Second Avenue. Nutritious hot meals for our less fortunate will continue for another year," said Mills.

Since the annual raffle started, more than $45,000 has been raised.

"A special thank you to everyone who supports this draw year after year, it is because of you that this is possible," she said.
