NEWS RELEASE
TIMMINS PUBLIC LIBRARY
*************************
In January of 2021, the Timmins Public Library put a call out to the community for submissions  of their artwork, photography, poetry and creative writing reflecting on their experiences during the pandemic. From the project's inception in early 2021, through the inspirational workshops,  several shutdowns and postponements, the Timmins Public Library is proud announce that  Coping Through Creativity: A Time Capsule Book of Your Creative Expression During the  Pandemic has finally been published, and copies will be available for reading at both library branches.

To celebrate the book and the community members who contributed their creative artwork,  photography, and writing, the Timmins Public Library is inviting the media and the community to an all-ages StoryWalk® and Social on Tuesday May 24, 2022, at 6 p.m.

The guided StoryWalk® will take place in front of the Timmins Public Library (or inside, if the weather is bad), and then everyone is invited into the library for light refreshments and a chance to meet some of the participants who made this project possible.

If you plan to attend, please register at EventBrite via this link or contact the Timmins Public Library.

For those interested in purchasing a copy of the book as a community memento or a gift, it can  be ordered at cost through blurb.ca (hardcover and softcover available) here.
