A boil water advisory for Schumacher, South Porcupine and Porcupine has been lifted.

According to the Porcupine Health Unit, it has been lifted "due to satisfactory water results."

The alert was put into effect July 6 due to a chemical process update, which reduced water pressure.

While Schumacher was the community most impacted, the City of Timmins extended it to Porcupine and South Porcupine as a precaution.
