Timmins Police are investigating after a body was found at the Porcupine Mall.
Communications co-ordinator Marc Depatie said a deceased person was located at the mall early this morning, and the Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
Police say the identity of the person has not been confirmed.
While the investigation will determine if foul play was involved, police deem this to be “an isolated incident where there are no public safety concerns attached.”
An area behind the mall has been secured by police.
The mall is open, however there is no access from the walking path off of Michener. It has been taped off for the investigation.
