Environment Canada has introduced a “this hour's hot and cold spots” feature on its website, and you'll never guess where the hot spot in both Ontario and Canada is right now.

It's 29.5 C in the Northern Ontario community of Moosonee, making it the warmest place in the province and country as of about 3 p.m. June 24.

The coldest spot in Ontario is the Fort Severn Airport, where it's 6.1 C, and the coldest spot in Canada is Cape Hooper, Nunavut, where it's -1.7 C.

By the way, it's currently 27 C in Timmins, with a high of 29 C expected.
