The Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into an incident of mischief which is alleged to have occurred during the early morning hours of Sept. 24 at a Spruce Street North residence in Timmins.
The distraught suspect is alleged to have taken a yard ornament from a neighbouring yard and smashed it against the side of a parked vehicle.
Timmins Police officers were called to the scene and located the suspect without incident.
Briana Cabral, 23, of Timmins was arrested and charged with:
- one count of mischief under $5,000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
- one count of fail to comply with probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The charged person remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this afternoon at Provincial Court in Timmins.
