UPDATE  – Friday, October 3rd, 2014 - The advance green signal retrofit project will be extended for another week. Slight delays have occurred due to weather. The Brunette Road intersection and Cedar Street intersection are done. The Spruce Street intersection, Pine Street intersection and Mountjoy Street intersection  should be retrofitted by the end of next week

Monday, September 29th, 2014 - The Traffic Department wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians that flashing green lights on Algonquin will be replaced with green directional arrows. The intersections that will be upgraded are between Brunette and Mountjoy. The work will take place this week. Some re-wiring is required and as a result the intersections are expected to be in an all-red flashing mode for a period of about 15 minutes. We ask that all users pay particular attention to the traffic signals this week. We thank you in advance for your patience as the work takes place.
