Major Drilling donates $10,000 to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation to the pandemic response efforts.

The hospital's pandemic response efforts have received a major boost. 

Major Drilling has donated $10,000 to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation. It's being put toward the hospital's pandemic response efforts.

“Now more than ever, giving back to the communities that we operate in is crucial,” said Kelly Johnson, Major Drilling senior VP North America and Africa, in a news release.

He added the company is proud to make the donation to help the help hospital continue providing care to local people.

“We greatly appreciate Major Drilling’s support of our hospital and our frontline healthcare workers especially when healthcare systems are overwhelmed and many are struggling as social distancing and the economic impact take a toll on our communities," said Barb McCormick, TADHF manager of donor relations.
