Three new COVID-19 cases reported

One is related to a Kapuskasing outbreak, and two are in the Hearst, Hornepayne area

Three new COVID-19 cases are being reported in the Porcupine Health Unit region. 

One case is related to the outbreak at Extendicare in Kapuskasing. This is the seventh case reported as part of the outbreak.

Two of the new cases are under investigation and in the area of Hearst, Hornepayne.

"Public health will notify all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by public health, you are not considered a close contact," reads the news release.

So far there have been 170 confirmed cases of the virus in the region. There are 18 known active cases of the virus.
