The Kinsmen Club of the Porcupine is doing its part to help the hospital.

The service club has donated $2,500 to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation to help buy supplies workers need to respond to COVID-19.

"The Kinsmen Club of the Porcupine would like to express our gratitude and thanks to all the staff — doctors, nurses, support and maintenance — at TADH for their ongoing work during these difficult times. We are donating $2,500 in support of the work you do, for the purchase of the required personal protective equipment," said Kinsman Sam Barbuto in a news release.

TADH Foundation manager of donor relations Barb McCormick said they're grateful for the club's continued support, especially with the wide-ranging impact COVID-19 has in the community.
