Catherine and Daniel St-Denis are recognizing their daughter Christine Robin, who is a registered nurse at Timmins and District Hospital.

"Christine made up her mind in high school that she wanted to get into healthcare. With her stubbornness and perseverance she graduated from her nursing program and began her career at TDH.

Patient care is always at the top of her priority list. During her four years of completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Christine worked as a PSW during the summer months at Extended Care for several years where she carefully crafted her client care.

With the trying times we are all going through, Christine and all our front line health care workers risk their own health and safety to ensure ours.

To our daughter who we love so much and to all the health care workers and support staff at TDH - thank you!"

TimminsToday would like your help in recognizing local essential workers from health care workers, physicians, cashiers and delivery drivers. If you'd like to say thanks to someone you know, please send a photo, their name, their job title, and your words of thanks to [email protected]. Please only send photos and information with permission.
