Sandy

(Humane Society)

Hello! My name is Sandy, and I’m currently available for adoption at the Timmins & District Humane Society. Did you know that I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever home since April? I’m just waiting for my chance to come, and I know that when I am chosen, it’s going to be so special.

I’m the purr-fect friend for an adopter who’s looking to skip the kitten stage and jump right to the cuddles. I’m a super soft and handsome one-year-old boy. I love people and I get along well with my feline comrades. I’m an all-around great companion, suitable for any cat lover out there.

Recently, the workers at TDHS discovered that even though I’m still so young, my kidneys aren’t working like they should, which just means that I’m on some medicine to regulate things, possibly for the rest of my life (this medicine only costs approximately $40/month).

The reality is that I’m not in ship shape like some of my feline friends, but I remain optimistic… I know that it’s going to take a very special and compassionate person to adopt a special needs boy like me.

Let me tell you that I can’t wait to meet you and promise in advance to pay you back with a lifetime of happy moments and all the love and kindness in my heart. I would love to meet you; come say hello!

Apply to adopt Sandy before Sept, 30 to save $50!

All TDHS dog and cat adoptions include the animal’s spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, deworming treatment, a sample bag of Science Diet kibble, coupons, and six pre-paid weeks of pet insurance through Pet Secure.

We also facilitate small animal adoptions (e.g. ferrets, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, etc); please contact us to inquire about the adoption process for those little ones.
