Adopt Me: Mahi enjoys cuddles and playtime

She is looking for a home without young children, but would love a kitty friend

TimminsToday, in partnership with the Timmins and District Humane Society and the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

(Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society)

Mahi is a beautiful, energetic young female, around one year old. She is very playful and loves to cuddle.

She’s come a long way but still needs to learn manners while playing or when being pet. She doesn’t always realize that her nails and teeth hurt but she’s getting a lot better and keeping her claws in.

For this reason we recommend a no-young-kid home. She loves other cats and doesn’t mind dogs.

If you can give her that forever home with some patience as she continues to learn, please apply at
