TimminsToday, in partnership with the Timmins and District Humane Society and the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

(Humane Society)

Hello all, my name is Jacinthe - have you ever met a lady sweet like me? I came into the care of the Timmins & District Humane Society in February of this year, and am still searching for my new family. Who knew picking the perfect humans could be this hard?

I am a very sweet and fun-loving gal, approximately a year old. I am a domestic short-haired calico, and oh-so beautiful.

I came to TDHS as a stray, and unfortunately was not able to be reunited with my owners. The change in scenery didn't seem to faze me much, I immediately showed the staff how wonderful I really am.

I would do well with any type of family. I get along well with my new feline friends at the shelter, and don’t mind sharing my home and humans with them. I am however ready for my own family, and hope that I will find them soon. They say good things come to those who wait – and I have been very patient!!

If you think you may be the family for me, then come by and say hi! You will fall in love, I promise. Hope to see you soon!
