Adopt Me: Indigo the husky/doodle mix

She is good with cats and prefers calm dogs

TimminsToday, in partnership with the Timmins and District Humane Society and the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

(Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society)

Meet new NOAWS foster dog Indigo (Indy), believed to be a two-year-old husky/doodle mix.

She is good with cats and prefers calm dogs, hyper dogs tend to overwhelm her. No children under 10 years because she has snapped at people when in pain.

At the moment we are working to get rid of very severe and painful ear infections. This may be due to food allergies but we will know more soon.

Unless you are attempting to clean her ears she is the sweetest dog ever. Indy loves to cuddle and is happiest hanging out with you on the couch!

She would make a great forever companion. If interested in adoption, please apply at or email for more info.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
