Human Resources Assistant
Noojmowin Teg Health Centre seeks a Human Resources Assistant (HRA) to provide administrative support to the Human and Physical Resources function. The Human Resources Assistant helps with the development and implementation of policy and procedures, recruitment, orientation and training, occupation health and safety, time and attendance management, disability management, physical resources, and other areas as directed. The HR Assistant prepares documents, enters data, ensures follow-up, coordinates functions, tracks departmental tasks, as well as supports and implements special projects. The HRA reports to the Director of Operations.
Noojmowin Teg Health Centre is an Aboriginal Health Access Centre that provides traditional healing, primary health, mental health, and health promotion services to community members of the seven First Nations of Manitoulin District and surrounding areas. Visit our web-site at www.noojmowin-teg.ca.
Given the traditional practices of the Anishinabek, exposure to wood smoke and the burning of sacred medicines, including tobacco, sweet grass, sage and cedar, may occur in the work setting.
